Since LSU got healthy and Coach Eaux learned his lesson (Troy game) to not meddle in Canada's offense, LSU is a greatly improved team.Really too bad Danny couldn't get 3-4 more balls in the right place and Chark didn't play his first bad game - I felt LSU left 18pts on field somewhere. Could have been a good game at the end. LSU coaching staff did a nice job at some point the players have to make the plays - nice month or so for Coach O and the staff.
One can point to what-ifs for both teams in lots of games. For example:
- Several drops by Bama WRs killed drives.
- Refs missed a take-down hold by LSU on Bama LB that sprung William's long run to set-up LSU's lone TD.
- Refs missed clear PI in end-zone (LSU DB grabbed and pulled down WR's arm).
Bama's TOP and margin of victory could've been greater.
LSU is looking really good -- should win out.
