muskegon (mich.) offensive lineman anthony bradford, a four-star junior ranked as the no. 28 offensive tackle in the country by the 247sports composite, just finished a weekend official visit to tennessee after taking one to lsu the weekend before.
"it was really good," he said of the volunteer visit. "i had a chance to see the campus, the academic center, and i really liked that. I got to spend time with the coaches. I really liked the players also, i had a chance to spend time with them."
offensive line coach will friend and head coach jeremy pruitt are the coaches bradford spent the most time with. "coach pruitt said don't follow the hype," bradford explained. "he said they just got there and are building the program, so he said follow your heart and don't follow the hype."
the weekend before, bradford was at lsu, another school who showed him what he needed to see. "lsu was awesome. That was a really good visit. I liked seeing the school and campus," he said.
Bradford denies a leader or even a group of schools at the top right now, but indiana, alabama, michigan state, kentucky, and others are thought to be in the running. "i don't have anything planned right now as far as visits, but i'm looking at taking an official visit to alabama and maybe some other schools," bradford said.
These spring visits are important because bradford wants to make a decision on the earlier side. "i want to make my decision before my senior season," he said.
