Didn't realize he is a Sophomore this year, but could he be a decent gap fill from JG to Bailey?
Seemed like a good dual-threat QB last year behind a less than average OL and a head coach heading out the door.

I just don’t get the Leach hype at all. State’s QB room wasn’t great when he arrived, but he’s arguably made it worse. He also inherited the best RB in the SEC and he doesn’t even recognize his existence. If Bailey doesn’t absolutely tear it up this year, I’d take Shrader if he wanted in and we could get him immediately eligible. The downside is you’d have to either get the NCAA to finally pass the universal one-time free transfer rule, or get the SEC to grant a waiver again.
