Bot, if you think there aren't kids overlooked every year then I'm not sure what to tell you.

Many don't camp, play in small towns, or have coaches that have no idea how to promote and help their players get noticed.

We have one on our team this year, Cedric Tillman. Could be the best player we got last year and that's including JJ.

Roman Harrison this year, freak measurables and crappy offer list, even though he is getting noticed now.

Where do you think these players from smaller colleges come from that turn out to be beasts on the field? It's not that uncommon, happens every year.

I get what you are saying but its still the exception not the rule. My point is this guys film looks too good to not have more big time offers. Maybe he hasnt camped a lot. I dont know.

Look at it this way, if he doesn't camp or get promoted, all those schools are regional to him, with the exception of GT.

I'm sure there are coaches at those schools that have local ties. They would be the first to hear about him. Maybe he bloomed this summer or had a growth spurt.

Lots of reasons why he is just now getting discovered.

I'll use Cedric Tilman as an example. If that's the kind of "under the radar" players that these coaches find, I'll take a couple every year.

Edit - and I'm not saying that he is gonna be a stud either. But I don't rush this staff more than the last.

If he camps and they offer him, I'm all in.

He didn’t camp, he’s from a 1A school, and it’s a mill town in the mountains on the NC/VA border. I’ve seen all the top kids in NC play. He can play with and would start in any of those teams, and has the most upside of any player in NC.

I want this kid at UT whether he plays WR or my favorite, a ball-hawking, Deon Grant/Carl Pickens(freshman year) like, free safety

Have you seen Gee Witherspoon play. Maybe one of the most underrated players in NC.

I sure haven’t but I will look him up

One of the main reasons Hibriten won a state championship. Watched him run all over Shelby last year for 160 yards on 17 carries 2 tds with Dax Hollifield playing MLB.

Yep. Coach up their is a good guy. And Shelby has Scott, the other Hollifield and more. Was glad to see hibriten break through. My brother used to live in Lenoir as did a cousin so I have followed them a while
