Naw... they'll average 8 to 9 wins though and occasionally make a run.

Dude's a good coach but he isn't God. Nobody is going to destroy James Franklin at Penn State, Jim Harbaugh at Michigan, and Urban Meyer at Ohio State from little ole Nebraska.

He's not in their division. Wisconsin is their only real threat. All he has to do is beat Wisconson and then he gets a shot at one of the teams above. I would guess he will be playing in the championship game 2 out of every 3 years.

Frost is going to destroy the Big 10

as well. Certainly what Frost accomplished at UCF was impressive. Only time will tell. Going up against the likes of Wis, Pen St, Ohio St, Mich, Mich st is a bit different then what he faced at UCF. I hope he does exceedingly well, would really enjoy seeing him knock of Urban Meyer, James Franklin etc on a consistent basis.

probably, and they play on the right side of the big 10 to do it fairly quickly. recruiting to Lincoln though is still not the easiest thing. NE made their living in the big 8 and early on in the big 12 on partial and non qualifiers. once the big 12 put the kibosh on that, they kinda got average pretty quick. well, that and Tom Osbourne retiring.:)

The lack of academic rigor for their atheletes is something that Nebraska fans have always been very sensitive of. Also defensive coordinators figuring out traditional option offenses consigned NU football to the history books.

doesn't matter, it's still true. :)

as for figuring out the offense, it wasn't much to figure out, really. it's not like the option is trying to fool you. it just tests your discipline as a defense over and over and over and over again.....

for a long time, they were just exceptional at running it, with very good players.

those early 90's teams were gooooood. played big boy defense too. Tommy Frazier and Scott Frost were two of the best qb's i've ever seen to run that offense.
