Watched him play last night. You can definitely see the talent, but he had an mixed bag night. Almost no offense for Nolensville in the first half, as Fayetteville got up 21-0 going into halftime. Wharton's arm strength is evident. He overthrew a deep route off balance last night about 45-50 yards in the air. He seemed off on timing and accuracy in the first half. However, in the third quarter he caught fire and threw darts all over the field with two passing td's. They came back with three unanswered scores to make it 21-27 going into the 4th. One of his td's was a roll out back shoulder throw for about 30 yards that was beautiful. The 4th quarter was unfortunately more like the first half, he missed a couple of throws, but the offense in general was bad as the line wasn't giving him any time. They kept him from using his legs last night as well, hardly any yards on the ground. It is good to see that his throwing motion looks much better with a higher release.
