Given that the three wide receivers you listed never played in a single truly meaningful game in college, Peter Warrick rates ahead of all of them. Also, the omission of Ed Reed and Ray Lewis from the list really hurts its credibility.

I was thinking of putting Peter Warrick, but I wasn't sure because I never really followed his career except the end of 98, and all of 99' which he was great.

And, if you think a player should be on there, just say someone and they will be added.

He was awesome. I think FSU would have been better off letting him play QB against us.

A few points:

AJ Hawk was an outside linebacker. I think LaVar Arrington was, too.
I'm pretty sure Ed Reed was a free safety.
I don't see why Warren Sapp isn't on the list at DT.
Leonard Little could probably make the list at DE.
How about Todd Heap, Dallas Clark, Heath Miller, or Jason Witten for TE?
Troy Polamalu was pretty good in college at SS, if I recall.
Champ Bailey would make a good addition to the CB spot.

You're right about Arrington and Hawk.
Ed Reed actually played both Strong, and Free Safety.

I'll add Sapp, Clark, Bailey and Heath Miller.
The others could be considered to be on the 90-Present list, but would probably be a stretch to put them there.

Devin Hester - Miami
Rocket Ismail - Notre Dame

Devin Hester was a monster disappointment at Miami. He was hyped as a monster talent, but didn't live up to the hype on the field. He largely came out of nowhere in his first year in the NFL.

julius peppers is insane. ronald curry played basketball and football also

So did Julius Peppers. He played forward for the UNC Tarheels. He chose to sit out his senior season for basketball since he was an obvious Top 10 pick in the NFL draft. He didn't want to risk injury.

Mike Alstott - FB - Purdue - He was a devastating rusher and blocker in college. Also William Floyd ("Bar None") - FB - Florida State

Good call on Floyd. Alstott played more tailback than fullback in college.

How can this list be created without having Peyton on the QB list?

Because this list is also about accomplishments I would think.

Those 4 QB's have a combined 6 National Championships and played in 9 National Championship Games.

If Manning could have won a National Title, or even played in one, then I would easily put him on this list.

I am sure I will get some bashing from this.

???

7 Touchdowns on Special Teams.

Also was named an All-American.

How is that a "monster" disappointment?

He was the most explosive kick returner in College since 1990. Only returner in my opinion as someone else mentioned that could compete with him would be Rocket Ismail.

I've already posted this vid a few times, but I will again.

I know Larry Allen played at podunk Sonoma, but he has to be one of the best college guards of all time. He graduated in the early 90s. Tony Boselli probably belongs in the OT debate
