I was at a church function, think it was wknd before thanksgiving as I recall. Nobody inside all the men n women at car listening to john ward's every word. I heard a player recount yrs later that when Tn lost the ball, Billy Ratliff went over to the offense n told em he would get it back. Chills!

Agree there that Hamilton handled it poorly and disrespectfully and that Phil deserved much better. Shouldve been treated like the HOFer like he is. I was just saying that given the teams performance that it was time for a change IMHO.

Great game! That season was a nail biter! So many close games and so many things just happened to go our way. It wasn't easy to win then either! We have a long way to go but looking forward to returning to the top!

I know what you mean, but considering what has happened, CPF would have done better. IMHO.

We had 4 or 5 games that could have went either way that magical season but the mark of a true champion is being able to find a way to win in the end.

As great as the fumble was the five plays following the fumble were the greatest series in Vol football living memory.
