I am really afraid that we are about to see that our Athletic Director has no solid plan ... Hope I'm dead wrong. I just got that bad feeling this morning. We need to move quickly to stop the bleeding (figuratively speaking). I'm embarrassed as a Tennessee fan right now. We need to show the recruits and the rest of the country that we're serious about being a winning program again.

I am afraid your right. he has done nothing to make me think he has his ducks in a row. The presser will be interesting more to see what hart says than the firing.

From a lot of people's sources, Hart and boosters have been searching for a few weeks now. We will find out if true over next several weeks. Personally I think he has a plan bc it's his job and if he didn't then he doesn't need to be AD

I heard per CBS sports that it is a bidding war between arkansas and UT for Gruden. That is if he wants to coach college even. I say we win that war but I doubt he wants to come to college hopefully we get that settled or eliminated soon so us fans and students can have closure go vols

I'm skeptical until Dave Hart makes some transparent decisions for me to judge him by. So far, it's all been under wraps.

It's going to be interesting to watch this play out. I really hope he's been doing his homework and nails down a big name with a proven record.

I do have to say that if he officially fires CDD today; the timing is probably right. At least from the standpoint that everyone is now behind him to do so (no second guessing at this point). We aren't making a bowl and the Ky game doesn't really carry any weight at this point. So far, this is acceptable IMHO.

His career at UT will be judged on his next hire...period.

With his ties to tennessee I don't think he will go to ark. Even if they outbid us

Been getting ducks in a row since the UK game last year. I don't think today marks the start of a search. I think this happens quickly.
