I think I like not using a firm. You see what a search firm did for us with Kiffin and Dooley. I thank Dooley for helping to stabilize the program. I just dont think hes a good coach in the sec.

No search firm, tells me that they are talking to some folks. I think this gets done quickly. If we don't see somebody take the job in the next couple of weeks, and Hart names a search firm, then the program could be in trouble as far as getting a "home run".

Stop talking about UT's "competitive disadvantages," Hart. This is the time to paint a positive picture of the university and the football program--not to scare off potential coaches.

wanted to give dooley, staff and young men every opportunity to succeed, reach a bowl. for derek and the staff, every opportunity to turn the corner.... couldn't quite get there.

Never told dooley before this morning that we were making a change.

I am not worried if we don't announce in the next couple of weeks. That tells me we are after a current coach at a school going to a bowl.

I think it indicates how incompetent Hamilton was that he needed a search firm to find out who were good football coaches.

WTF is Hart talking about with his references to "historical" problems. What was his point about "academic disadvantages." I don't get that AT ALL.
