That's how much the program has progressed under Josh Heupel and how much he has elevated program in general. The awful 20 point 2nd quarter at Gainesville and the awful 17 point 3rd quarter at Toothaloosa is all the Vols are away from an 8-0 and top 2/3 ranking right now.

That's how thin the margin is and how close they are. I am just grateful he is our coach and has the Vols elevated to competing at a high level.

We got spoiled last year, and Milton just isn't Hooker. That said, he's playing better, and we're not what we were under previous coaches, thankfully. If we don't score fiddy, and blow people out, we're upset with just a win 🤣. Yeah, it sucks being nervous at Kentucky, but we've had those games even under Fulmer there, but we won. We've had some close wins this year, but those would've been losses under the previous coaches.

I mean, are there seriously people disappointed in this season? We are about to be 7-2 heading into Mizzou and UGA with a shot at 10 wins once again. Have some perspective, people (only directed to those disappointed in the season). We have been HORRIBLE…HORRIBLE for the majority of the last 15 years. Heupel has restored the winning edge to this program. He is about to be 25-10 in 2.5 seasons after the UConn game. 25-10!!! After inheriting an absolute dumpster fire of a program that had become accustomed to losing.

We’re probably also a couple great quarters away from losing a few
Lol. That’s what I was thinking as well. It goes both ways. We were kinda fortunate to beat A&M. But kinda unlucky to lose at UF. Not because of calls or lucky bounces but unlucky in that we are a much better team than them and we just got caught with our pants down.

If we play like we did tonight, we will get raw dogged by Georgia.
We marched up and down the field all night, just could not finish in the red zone. If we had done better in the red zone it would not have been close.

I agree but we can’t drop a game we should lose. If we don’t yes I think the VAST majority of the base will be very content to happy to ecstatic.

Get ready, buddy. The crazies are about to come after you…but yes, people are delusional and unhappy with this year.

Same story in Tuscaloosa. It’s a problem for this team.
