I'm not going to complain about a 4* or Foster. We need lineman so I'm glad we are getting them. Now all we need to round out the class is Chris Bonds, Akiem Hicks, and the 3 JUCO's and we are pretty much set...of course we will stay go after some top dogs.
I'm pretty sure we beat UM last time we played and we were ranked higher than them, and tOSU coasts through a cupcake schedule to get stomped by the SEC every bowl year. Give me UT any day over them
UT played LSU better than tOSU did this year. UF players said they'd played better teams in conference than tOSU... that was the year they beat UT by one.
Michigan couldn't even get through the Big 10. Their program isn't as good as UT right now though they are historically one of the best programs.
I heard rumors Foster might play some DT, so that would be big. I like the DJ Hunter pick up b/c he can play some safety or corner and we need depth at safety. Good job by the staff. Now go out, get a couple stud DT, get Marlon Brown and Morgan Moses and get depth at the LB position. We really need depth at LB.
WTF does anything have to do with how good they are or the Big 10. This is about recruiting. Whether they play a tough schedule or not, Michigan and tOSU are very high profile schools and are recruiting powers that is the entire point to the argument. Good job spinning yet another thread off the main subject by taking it out of context.
Florida, Georgia, and LSU wouldn't have gone after him because they don't need to. They have a ton of talent in their backyard and then can get other kids from the south. Our lack of talent in Tennessee makes us national recruiters, thats why we got this guy.
This early steam roller may be picking up speed. This is friggin awesome news. To win a top recruit (who is from Ohio) over tOSU and UM is large. Just out of curiosity who was recruiting these two future stars?
