Boise Vs. Bama or Florida has more potential for excitement than OSU getting curb stomped.. again.

Er...why root for OSU?

My guess is to see that Boise stays out of the top two.

I've seen a handful of people on here saying Ohio State is their second favorite team.

Bandwagon*cough*

Not at all. I've lived almost my entire life in central Ohio and am a student at Ohio State.

The better question is why root for Tennessee, to be honest. My only connection to the state was being born in Memphis and living there for about a year and a half I was too young to remember.

That being said, I've always considered myself a huge Vols fan, and would certainly root for Tennessee over Ohio State, despite how little sense it makes. OSU's my second favorite team.

Doesent really matter if OSU wins here or not.

Im betting Big Blue gets them and Boise walks into the NC game anyway.

That's different then.

If you grew up a fan of one and attended another, I understand.

There are so many people who cheer for two major universities and attended neither. That to me is sickening.

There is nothing worse than when you see a combination of Yankees/Red Sox, Cowboys/Steelers, Lakers/Celtics, Florida/North Carolina etc.

So sick of bandwagon fans and people who only cheer for the best and or multiple teams.

Ugly double-digit win on the road against a rival, but I'll take it.
I that always sounds weird to me when talking about Illinois. I know a lot of teams have multiple rivals, but here, there's just Michigan that receives any attention.

I think its weird too, but I guess because nobody really thinks about Illinois on any kind of level.

I used to root hard against Ohio State until I started going here. I pull for them, but if they played the Vols, I'd be rooting hard for UT (like I was during the Sweet 16 game this past season).

In all honesty, I'm not really sure why I identify with Tennessee so strongly, but I always take pride in saying I was born in Tennessee. Probably because when I was young I was the only kid I know not from Ohio. I root for the Titans and Vols, and just last year I even started rooting for the Grizzlies over the Cavs.

Here, it's just always been about Michigan, and I love it. It's amazing how much Ohio State and Michigan hate each other.
