2* WR's

wh..atever...for a roster full of 4* WR's ...we only used 2 last year and both of them are gone...I expect to see more playing time and production out of our 4* Wrs

Do the people in all white know you escaped your four padded wall room? Please go back and never return till you know how to visualize and interpret. We now have 5 Four* receivers. With Hunter, CP, ZR and Rivera there wasnt much need to rush the young guys along. Geez

Just wondering how bad we are hurting at WR since we signed/recruited a couple of Mid level 2* Receivers?

Obviously CP and JH are gone...but wow...I am totally un-impressed with that...

You are a disgrace the the name General Neyland. If you have this much hate for Tennessee and Coach Jone, use a different name.

You should have to take an intelligence test before signing up on this site. Too many retards making threads.

Whatever is always the response when someone realizes they have no response. Be honest man...you effed up and missed the fact that we signed three 4 star WR's. Of course you made it worse by calling us douchebags..well...doushbags but we got the meaning. Just let it out...you'll feel better. Who needs a hug?

The only positions I am not worried about next year are wide receiver and offensive line. Seems a bit odd to get a thread bemoaning the wide receiver position. I suggest worrying more about any and all positions on defense, that is my concern.

+1

I'm just wondering how's its possible to make such a ridiculous statement that they only used 2 really good wideouts. Not only was 3 really good ones used (plus a TE taking up stats) but why the heck would any other WR get massive playing time when you have 1st-2nd round players in front of them? Good grief. Gotta love it.

I've watched Malik Foreman and whoever rated him as a 2* is crazy. He can play multiple positions and is an excellent corner.

Of course the three 3* and one 2* ratings were as a wide receiver. On offense, didn't he play mostly QB and RB?

GN, can you please elaborate on how we're supposed to give playing time to more of our receivers last year when we have our starting 2 wideouts getting ready to make millions in the NFL draft? Thus why there will be at least 2 of the guys mentioned in this post starting in 2013 and catching most of the balls:

Croom ****
Howard ****
Bowles ****
North ****
Harris ****
Jenkins ***
Dallas ***
Smith ***
Blanc **

I can see this post referencing RB or OL or DL, but WR? This is no area of drastic concern right now.

Josh Smith WR 6'1" 185 will be a huge get for us in a few years! He will have similar production to the rogers brothers. He never attended any major camps or combines and never received huge attention. Kid will be a VFL and a solid player.

If a player has a 2* rating, there is a very good chance that he was never evaluated. If you want to move up the star rankings, go to camps. More exposure will more than likely land you a high 3* if you have any kind of talent.

I'm pretty sure that somewhere in the post that he is referring to that freak did, he said he averaged the star ratings from ALL of the rankings. Whether it be from Rivals, ESPN or Bleacher Report. My guess is all he did was look at the numbers and not really even read the post.

If it is the thread i'm thinking of, Freak said himself we had a good WR's class. Of course that really doesn't matter either since pretty much everybody in the country thinks we pulled one of the best WR classes in country.

Recruiting rankings and stars are OPINIONS of what the player might do in college. They do not matter. What matters is coaching and developing the players

It is vital to have talent first and then coach and develop. The teams that recruit talent are winning like UF, Bama, LSU, UGA and the ones that rely on "coaching and developing" make a little noise from time to time like Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Talent makes coaches look like great developers.

In before Hunter is soft and gave half an effort last year and we wont miss him.....oh, sorry, wrong thread.

I think every WR we have is either a 4 star or 3. The only two was TE Woody Quinn and that is because he hasn't been evaluated by the services.

SIAP but according to this, UT signed the 3rd best class of WR's in the nation.

Rivals.com Football Recruiting - Position recruiting ranking: Offense

And from 2012...Rivals.com Football Recruiting - Position recruiting ranking: Offense

There is literally so much out there involved with Tennessee football that I understand people complaining about. I mean the list is VERY long.

But this is so far down the list that I truly have no mercy on the OP for this ignorant post.

When your returning leading receiver is a RB, you better be concerned with our WR corps. Seems we have some talented WRs with zero experience. And Pig was a big disappointment last season.

You freaking idiots...READ BELOW

I took this off of Freaks Recruit Thread

Josh Smith WR 6'1" 185 2.75 SIGNED LOI

Malik Foreman ATH 5'10" 170 2.75 SIGNED LOI

Multiple outlets have Foreman listed as playing on both sides of the ball at WR and DB, and some as a Returner

The only idiot here is you.
