That was my point. Auburn has a better defense than UT, and like you said, if aTm had wanted to score 100 last night, they would have.

Of course that would be our luck. Hart will probably stand around twiddling his thumbs with Dooley, and Auburn will get the jump on us in the coaching search. Add in the fact that Arkansas is almost certain to be looking, and its shaping up to look like UT will be last to the party in the coach market and get stuck with Auburn and Arky's scraps. Awesome.

Nobody major has reported it yet (personally, I think Auburn will end up waiting until the end of the season to fire him), but something to think about. Would certainly be interesting if two SEC coaches were fired on the same day with a month to go.

I wouldn't have any major problem with giving Dooley the rest of this year if it didn't look like several other prominent SEC jobs were coming open. IMO UT can't afford to be last to the party and get stuck with leftovers again.
