I think more minutes for Davis and more for MeMe. She will play at least 20 minutes. I think Annie will be backing up Evina and MeMe, and Rennia basically replaces Diamond.

Will Harris actually play this year? I'm curious because she couldn't have been there to help with depth last year because they had none, and she still didn't play. All they really had last year to backup Russell was Nunn. Now they have KK. So conceivably Harris could actually play even less than she played last year. Which I'm not even sure how you could manage that.

I have heard that KK is still very raw but does anyone know if she can work from the high post?

They could use Kamera for added depth at the high post, but her jumpshot needs work. In her HS footage, she appears to shoot it from her chest.

I hope she improves during the off season. No reason she can't be an effective rotation player with her size and length.

Saw her play here at Boo Williams Center one time. You could tell she was a big body but easily winded. When she was one she took up space had prwttt good footwork! If she gets conditioned which may take her a good portion of the preseason and before SEC she could help by providing depth at the post position. She actually reminded me of Anosike in the way that she actually sealed her player off in the post and set good screens and rolled to the basket. She did need to keep the ball higher but hand decent hands.. oh free throw shooting needed work! But nothing that couldn't be fixed and get her to the 70% percent mark.

Imo she needs to play every game if its no more than 5 minutes, the reason being Russell leaves and there is a chance Green could leave early (if she has one of those Amanda Zui B seasons where its like she blossomed out of no where to the 2nd pick of the draft).

If that were to happen and we Miss out on Ododa we could only have Harris and KK at the 5 spot for the 2018-2019 season, if nothing else allow her to rebound and block shots

Remember when we beat South Carolina and Coats and Wilson sat for half of the game ????

They could have used Kamari and her five fouls to push Mercedes around ! Just saying!! It is a good thing to have a extra big and her five fouls !!

Does Amira Collins also play the low post. She should be a good option as well.

For some reason, I'm a big supporter of Kamera. I'd love to see her become a regular part of the rotation. I hope she's ready.

You might be getting ahead of yourself with Green. Zahui B. Had the advantage of being one of the main focal points of Minnesota's offense, especially once Banham got injured. Green will have a hard time standing out sharing the court with Nared and Russell.

I think cheriden will see at least 5-6 min per quarter if she is healthy and stays out of foul trouble. 4 min breaks each quarter with tv times outs is actually a lot of time. I think you bring her along slower at first but with the NonLeague season may be good to go 3 min a quarter and build toward the SEC season to get her feet wet and maybe play her more against your Stanford and Texas type teams. I think meme plays 20 game. I think Evina and Annie play closer to 25 also a game. They will get playing time but will be being taught the game as it goes on. Foul trouble with the freshmen will also play a factor.

Did Nunn have a hard time standing out when she got in the game? Green is a better player than Nunn trust me on this one! I also like Harris a lot and think she should be playing! She could do for us what Kiah Stokes did for UConn, it was so easy for them to get out and run because Stokes were back there cleaning house

In the short vid they posted she also looked decent moving around . I saw she lad a leg sleeve on but she was on the court at least .

Yes, Nunn did have a hard time standing out. While she was usually effective when she was on the court, she was still used sparingly. Considering that posters here were saying that Qui would be an upgrade to Graves, I'm gonna have to see Green play before I discuss her possibly leaving because she might be a WNBA lottery pick.

Stokes was exactly the player comparison I was thinking of for Kamera. A poor man's Kiah for sure, but the potential to contribute in a similar though less relied upon manner.

Nunn had 14 and 15 in a tournament game that she played meaningful minutes. For some reason she barely played, we hadn't seen Graves as relentless on the boards since her freshman season. Green knows what is at stake and if she is back at the form she was her 2 JUCO seasons, she's going to be the X-Factor
