Its amazing to look at that 2002 class when you realize those were the guys on the field during that awful 2005 season.

I was bored, so I went through the list and counted the guys I thought "worked out". Generally I counted the guys that started a significant amount of time. I didn't go past 2006, because I figure it's a bit soon to evaluate those classes. Here's out it broke down. I broke it down into the Star rankings from all classes combined and then I went and did all the combined ranks in each class.

5 Stars: 7/10, 70%
4 Stars: 31/50, 62%
3 Stars: 19/41, 46%
2 Stars: 7/15, 47%

2002: 16/25, 64%
2003: 9/22, 41%
2004: 16/24, 67%
2005: 15/26, 58%
2006: 8/22, 36%

Dickerson and Jeffries both had grade issues. Toeaina was a JUCO OL who started both years he was here. He was massive, but didn't live up to his 5 stars.

Compared to some of the others busts, he did OK. He at least got to play a lot.

Be they over rated or what. Looks like a lot of undeveloped talent by the staff. No way you bring that much talent here during that time and piss it away. Speaks volumes for the former staffs coaching ability.

Withdrew. Remember he had family members that were killed in a car crash on their way up to watch him if I remember right. Really sad for a kid with that potential.

I remember seeing Greg Jones on TV last year. He was on a Amateur Boxing show on Fox sports called Best Damn Toughman . He ended up losing though.

Stayed in East TN and transferred to a Divison 2 school Carson Newman. He had some success there and was trying to get on a practice squad on a NFL team.
