i'd rather squeek by any day of the week instead of losing close games. a win is a win is a win, whether its winning 42-17 or 19-14, it dont matter and it still counts when you score with :38 to go in the 4th to beat one of the worst teams in the league.

I love how no one expects AU to do well this season,OK I know we lost alot but AU is very deep in talent, just that BC needs some experience so we have a great Defense again,so he has a chance to grow provided he does alot of it before GaTech!! The AU LSU game will be pivitol in the West. Like I have said before UT vs AU again this year in ATL!!! :cross:

i have read and heard on the tv from different sources that tuberville said this is the most TALENTED AU team he's ever coached since he has been there but they were just all freshman, so while the tigers may be good this year, they probably wont make it to atl this year but probably definetly be there in the years to come. cause that is a mighty bold statement to lose all of those players in the 1st round of the draft and say that this team is the most talented he has seen.

I expect AU to do the same as the rest of the top half in the west; Great defense, mediocre offense at best.

Yea that's a bold statement on my part we are deep all over but QB.That is everyones concern and as of late some DB concerns have come to light, plus the getting banged up pretty good. CTT is letting up on the physical and working on the mental now until KICK OFF.I like you guys and gals can't wait!!!

I'm not saying that Auburn lost everybody, but I heard they were even looking for a walk-on waterboy.

I think that Georgia has a good chance of winning the East...They lost David Greene who is the winningest QB in NCAA history and have to replace him with a very talented QB who was a big shot freshman that had to ride the pine and wait his turn...Sound familiar?

'98 Tennessee had to replace Peyton Manning with a talented QB...Everyone thought we were gonna drop off but instead we ran the table and won it all.
Not saying Georgia will do that but don't write 'em off just yet.

God Bless and Go Vols

Georgia is going to move the football. Shockley will be fine for them at QB and they have a great stable of RBs. They are a little thin on defense though. Losing David Pollack, Odell Thurman and Thomas Davis to the NFL and losing their defensive coordinator is going to be tough to overcome.

UGA is in the same position we were in before last season. God forbid but if we fail to win the division, I could see them going all the way.
