Gerald Williams isnt qualified.. yet.. and i dont know how good of a chance he has to get in..

Gerald Williams has already enrolled at the City College of San Francisco, which is where Kenny O'Neal is currently attending. So, it appears as if he'll have to wait yet another year, and he won't count towards this class.

Vinson committed last year and didn't make it.

Gerald Williams came in with Vladimir Richards two years ago and hasn't qualified yet.

Vlad is a huge guy, something like 295-300 lbs with 9% body fat. And Gerald looks bigger when they stand side by side

Williams still has two chances to play for Tennessee in 2007:

1. He recently took a standardized test. If he gets a passing score – and is not flagged by the Clearinghouse – he would be eligible to enroll.

2. He also has filed an appeal with the NCAA. If it gets a favorable ruling, he could be eligible to play for the Vols next fall.

If options 1 and 2 fail, Williams must complete a year at City College, then enroll at UT in time for the 2008 season.

Gerald Williams will eventually make it to Knoxville, and I'm predicting that he's going to be an All-American because he'll be a man on a mission... not to mention he's pretty darn talented.

I would love to have Gerald play soon.. he's a freakin manchild.. he's got one of the most athletic bodies of all the DE's in the nation.. And not to mention hes got a beast mentality.. He could be an all american.. and even a future first round draft pick.. hes got that kind of potential..
