2009 NFL Draft

Any possibility of Foster getting drafted went out the door when Shanahan was fired. Robert Ayers may be the only Vol to go on the first day.

Robert Ayers WILL NOT go on the first day. Remember the NFL changed it to only 2 rounds on the first day. And Foster will be drafted

1. Lions: Andre Smith/OT/Alambama
2. Rams: Eugene Monroe/OT/Virginia
3. Chiefs: Aaron Curry/LB/Wake Forest
4. Bengals: Chris "Beanie" Wells/RB/Ohio State
5. Seahawks: Brian Orakpo/DE/Texas
6. Raiders: Micheal Oher/OT/Ole Miss
7. Jags: Micheal Crabtree/WR/Texas Tech
8. Browns: Vonte Davis/CB/Illinois
9. 49'ners: Sam Bradford/QB/Oklahoma
10. Packers: Micheal Johnson/DE/Georgia Tech

will likely change more than 100 times until draft day. I think Stafford stays in school and Bradford comes out.

No way a WR goes in the top 10.

What are you basing this on? Did you forget that 2 years ago Calvin Johnson went #2 and Ted Ginn #9? Or how about 2 years before that when 3 receivers were picked in the top 10 (Braylon Edwards, Troy Williamson, Mike Williams)?

Most of the "experts" on ESPN, CBS, etc have Crabtree as a top 5 pick if he comes out. So I'd say your "no way" statement is off just a bit....:eek:k:

If the 49ers take Bradford I am going to be pissed. There is no way they are stupid enough to take another career 3rd stringer with a top ten pick

Haha. Are you serious? Apparently you have not watched Bradford play.

They've had much more luck in the back end of the first round. Jim Drunkenmiller was a sure fire HOFer.

You're going to be severely disappointed. Oklahoma produces system QB after system QB. Just like Florida, Texas Tech and Hawaii.

Once Stafford matures a bit more and learns he will be great. I don't like him going to Detroit as he would immediatly be rushed to start. I think it will be good for his development to watch for a year or two. i.e. - Carson Palmer and Phillip Rivers

Well how many of these other guys you're referring to were even considered good pro prospects? At OU, was Huepel(sp?) even drafted? Jason White was drafted very late IIRC, and no one expected anything great from him.

1. Rod Wilks
2. Mathew Stafford
3. Andre Smith
4. Sam Bradford
5. Michael Crabtree

Someone on here already established that Wilks would go number 0. He's going to play all time whatever position he chooses for both teams in the game(s) of his choice, each Sunday.

Well, of course there is always a possibility. However, most NFL GMs have found that they can get great value at WR in the 2nd-4th rounds.

I will be surprised if any of the Big 12 QB's of this year have any success in the NFL. One has to look no further then Vince Young for proof: big arm, mobile, no pocket presence, can't read defenses.

I bet that is the only time in his career Vince Young has been described as having a big arm.

I believe if Stafford goes Moreno goes or vice-versa... And I dont see tebow going... He asked for NFL input on his draft status and i do not believe the results will be to his liking.... I dont believe he has a career in the NFL

I like the philosophy of "other Oklahoma QB's have not done well so the same must be true of Bradford." I watched Jason White play. I watched Sam Bradford play. If you can't tell how much better Bradford is then I am sorry, you need to stop trying to give any analysis. Bradford is much more physically gifted than White.

of course if you could tell the future, you would have known that I was going to type this.
