Just a prediction, FWIW... and this is assuming we have no more significant additions to the incoming recruiting class:

PG- Melvin Goins (Trae Golden)
SG- Scotty Hopson (Skylar McBee OR Josh Bone)
SF- Cameron Tatum (Jordan McRae)
PF- Tobias Harris (Jeronne Maymon OR Renaldo Woolridge)
C - Brian Williams (Kenny Hall)

The depth at the 2 is concerning. Bruce might be better off going with a Hopson, Tatum, and McRae rotation at the 2/3. Obviously, if Tennessee can pull off a miracle and land Josh Selby, this would immediately solve the problem. In that case, Selby would likely start with Goins as his backup. Golden would then likely see his minutes come from backing up Scotty at the 2.

I think Woolridge starts the season backing up Tobias, but Maymon has a chance to steal those minutes once he becomes eligible in December.

What are your predictions?

How nasty would it be to start:

1 - Selby (6'2)
2 - Hopson (6'7)
3 - Tatum (6'6)
4 - Harris (6'8)
5 - Williams (6'10)

and have a 2nd team of:

1 - Goins (5'11)
2 - Golden (6'1) / Bone (6'3)
3 - McRae (6'6) / Maymon (6'6)
4 - Woolridge (6'8) / Pearl (6'5)
5 - Hall (6'8)

Tobias is a player. Can't wait to see him slice up SEC defenses next year should be fun. I wouldn't worry too much about the 2 guard. Our scoring will come from the 4, 5, and 3 positions mostly. If Scotty can start playing more agressively and consistently and show a little toughness it won't matter. I would like to see Skylar come off the bench and hit about 3 to 4 treys per game he will get the looks he wants just needs to show more consistency shooting the ball like we all know he can.

Hopefully playing Pearl and Bone won't be necessary next season.

1- Goins/Golden
2- Hopson/Mcrae
3- Harris/Woolridge/Maymon
4- Hall/Woolridge/Maymon
5- Williams/Hall

I like the size in this starting line-up.

If there were two true point guards I saw at the McDs tourney that I'd like for us it'd be what I saw out of Kyrie Irving, and Ray McCallum. sigh.

I know you don't think very highly of Maymon, but do you see him playing the 3 or the 4 in Pearl's system? My best guess was the 4.
If he's playing the 4, we can look forward to he and his father *****ing and whining from the get go.

If Tennessee somehow manages to snag Selby, the attitude/egos of some of the players/parents could probably drive Pearl insane.

Yeah, I thought that was exactly why his father was upset with Marquette. He's going to have to get over it, because I really don't see him playing the 3... and we need depth at the 4.

He'll likely be asked to do different things in Pearl's system than he did at Marquette.

The pay raise he gets from taking Tennessee to its first Final Four in that scenario will more than ease the suffering.

If Selby and Maymon come in with any sort of aggresion or attitude next season then we we will have a total of 2players to deal with in that respect.

I would certainly think we had that kind of potential. However, I wouldn't be so confident.

And Selby's mom, and Maymon's dad. And somewhere in dealing with that Pearl would have to work on Hopson's attitude towards the game/team. Not impossible, but he would have some work to do for sure.
