You jump all over someone for posting coffee shop discussion as it might hurt the kids, but you are free to call them all talentless hacks? That's laughable.

My assessment isn't coffee shop speculation. However, I shouldn't have lumped Stubbs in with the rest of the group. He obviously had a different set of circumctances.

I didn't use the phrase "talentless hacks". I said they aren't talented enough to play (contribute) at this level. At least you're paying attention.

Anyone leave other than Stubbs? I don't see how Raleigh will field a team this year

There were at least 4 others that were seriously looking into other options but the NCAA makes it extremely difficult to transfer. If a player wants to even talk to another team about transferring he must first get "permission to contact" from the AD. If a players does that and THEN decides to stay, can you imagine the repercussions from TR? Also, sitting out a year to go to another D1 program is not something many players feel is in their best interest.

Who is gonna pitch this season? It's gonna really be a struggle on the mound this year

Reed is finally healthy. It's looks like it will be either Gruver or Reed on Friday. Ramsey may end up being s starter. Steckenrider showed flashes of greatness at times last year. I'm not familiar with the JUCO's that came in but I hear they're talented.

Sir, Mr. Hobcock, for all his limitations and faults, is perfectly positioned to judge lack of talent. :whistling:
