I think Andy Dalton should be considered for the OROY because of the fact he is winning games, but Cam Newton will get it because everyone is in love with him. On the defensive side I'm really not sure.

OROY = S. WISNIEWSKI Raiders.

Definately Von Miller for the defense, and I'm not just a Broncos homer. He is the easy winner there.

On offense, I would say Dalton, but Newton will probably get it.

For those arguing Dalton, I'm guessing it's because of his team's record and I disagree with that sentiment. What Cam is doing in Carolina is truly hard to believe and the defense is an absolute joke, while Dalton's defense is top 5.

On defense I tend to agree that it's Von Miller, but Peterson is making a case for it with all the punt returns. Not sure if that is taken into consideration or not....

Patrick Peterson deserves to at least go to the pro-bowl

Dalton & A.J. Green have been both been awesome, I don't see what defense has to do with that.

Their defense allows Dalton some breathing room and keeps the game close. Cam doesn't have that luxury...

Carolina's sorry defense allows Cam to have more possessions and more stats. I'm not gonna say Dalton should win ROTY over Newton, but to fault a guy because he has a better defense is wrong.

You guys are nuts if you think Patrick Peterson should receive any consideration for DROY. He's not very good on defense. He's not a bad defender, but not DROY worthy. He is, however, the best punt returner in the NFL right now. He's a legit All-Pro special teamer. He is NOT a legit DROY. Von Miller has that sewn up.

If we're looking at results, gimme Dalton for OROY, but I can't argue against Scam Newton, either.

I'm not faulting the guy at all, but the reason they have a good record, which some people say is the reason he deserves the award, is because he gets strong play from his defense. If we're talking about biggest impact, I dont know how it's even arguable because Cam has single-handedly turned the offense into a top 10 offense...

For me id go cam on offense then its a toss up between peterson and miller on defense.

I like Von Miller being a Broncos fan. But either of them would be deserving. Aldon had a huge game last night.

Cameron Newton as OROY. Not great W-L ratio, but is doing some unbelievable things in Carolina. Edges out Andy Dalton and AJ Green for the award.

Von Miller as DROY. Obvious choice. Great year for Denver. Edges out Patrick Peterson (who only makes list because of great PR skills).
