I'm posting this one mobile and will therefore hold off on beefier analysis till a later post. But in the meantime:
1. Predictions?
2. Isner v. Mahut pt. 2...seriously?

I'm guessing Mahut 6-4 3-6 7-5 4-6 7-6(739-737)

My prediction for the tournament winner is:

Novak Djokovic

Grass isn't his best surface, but grass wasn't andre agassi's best surface in '92 either. Breakthrough tournament for the Djoker.

For a moment there I thought Michael Russell was going to utterly destroy my Racquet Bracket. It's not over yet but I don't think he stands an ice cube's chance in hell of coming back from 2 sets down against Nadal.

wanna see how the surface is acting before I'll take him over Federer. If there is any pace to it, Fed's the guy.

Wimbledon grass playing slow on the first day isn't a good sign for Fed. Then again, he made it to the final at Roland Garros...

I got to quit betting tennis...Thought Murray would get Gimeno by 10 games.

Hell no. He is in a fight for his tournament life. Two people I know was picking him to win this damn thing. lol.

After the first week it burns in. If rain does not become a big factor, he'll be okay.

Players say the courts are generally slower than they used to be anyways...so there's that.

I guess the question is now, is this the kind of guy that just goes away after losing the second? Some do, some don't.

Looks like a combo of both. Murray stepped it up and Gimeno going for winners when he is lunging for the ball doesn't help his case. But I agree, OWH, the indoor game makes you feel like you're hitting like Sampras.
