If Florida shoots like they did against Mizzou then they win the SEC and possibly the tourney. Congrats to Florida, they are it this year.

Too bad Kentucky is off this season, but I'd suppose the Gators win the SEC in basketball. Who will beat them in the SEC tournament? Don't see Gators in the Final 4 though. I think an ACC team (Duke) or some one like Indiana, (or another Big 10 team) Lousville or even Syracuse could win it all.

Already counting Bill Self out?

If this team starts to play like 4 seniors and 1 freshman, instead of 5 freshman, they will be unstoppable. That is a big "if", though.

At least we didn't get clowned by a big east team in the suger bowl. Lmfao

Yeah, you tell him, since we haven't been to the Sugar Bowl since 1990. Or a BCS bowl period since 1999.

Especially funny since his lousy team has only beaten us 8 freakin' years in a row.

We beat UGA in front of no fewer than 1500 fans at Stegman tonight.

Ole Miss comes to Gainesville a week from Saturday...should be a great game.

I despise florida with all my heart, but they look ridiculously amazing....I'm scared to play them. Even in Knoxville lol.

There are about 5-6 teams I think could beat Florida. They're not top 5 in the nation at all right now. But because everyone in better conferences beats each other up, wouldn't doubt if they dont climb even higher than 4th.

Im noy trying to argue florida is the best team in the country or anything of the sort.

I'm only saying that the sec race is over.

By the way, i wish i was wrong. I think florida needs to be pushed before the tournament. I think the strength of the league will hurt them in march.

I hope kentucky or someone can give them a knockdown, drag out set of contests before the tourney.

Because, this (while fun to win) is not good when looking at the big picture

Polls are meaningless, but you make a solid point. Off the top of my head, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Louisville, NC State and a healthy Duke squad could beat us on a given day.

UF's lack of conference competition won't do us any favors come tournament time. Right now we look like Memphis under Calipari, a Final Four contender crushing Conference USA competition.

I may find myself in a weird position of cheering for the other team soon

I won't go that far, especially if that other team is UK.

I'll settle for a game, preferably a road game, where we can't hit any 3s, Wilbekin and Yeguette both get into foul trouble and we have to grind out an ugly close win.

Florida should win the tournament. However, it just takes one bad game......

Never underestimate the hungry underdog vs. the favorite who has nothing to gain by winning the SEC tourney. Look at UK last year.

I knew we were bad, but dang. That one hurt.

That's what I was saying. Florida SHOULD win the tournament, but, like you said, a team with nothing to lose playing the favorite with everything to lose can be dangerous.

Like Georgia a few years ago and then they fired the coach anyway

Thanks to UK laying an egg at Arkansas, UF is a home win against Vandy from making the OP look like a prophet.
