This may be the first time in history I get to see our squad play any sport in DC. I couldn't be more hype, may have to see em lace up against virginia as well. Appreciate the link

Is that not allowed? I thought we've had Sunday games before?

Very rare for conference games. Usually CBS has one premier SEC game on the last Sunday of SEC play. It's usually Kentucky vs someone (florida last year I think). Anyway, the guys play on Saturday and the girls on Sunday, usually. It's just odd and it stood out to me.

Hmm I was thinking we had one or two a year, maybe I'm bonkers.

20-22 wins in regular season very possible. A ton of toss up games that we'll be in. The early road test from Virginia and Georgetown will do wonders for this team. I think we lose at Bama because we always struggle down there for some reason, lose to LSU, split with Vandy, and possible split with Kentucky. 11-12 wins in conference will get us a bye IMO.

^ see the season prediction thread hahaha

If we lose at vandy that's a letdown. I don't give a crap how backwards there gym is, no excuse to lose to that team this year.

It would be a let down, but crazier crap has happened in nashville.

In Memorial, just like Rupp, it's better to just expect to get screwed. I don't think either one has disappointed yet.

No, but vandy also hasnt recently had as untalented and inexperienced of a team as they're about to. I don't care if have stallings brothers as refs, there's no way we should lose the game.

You keep using "should". In college basketball every conference road game is a toss up game. Life becomes much less stressful once you come to accept this.

So then why did you agree with my prediction. According to what you're saying all 9 SEC road games are toss ups, yet you didn't have an issue with my prediction?

I know college basketball pretty well thanks though. In fact if we want to get technical EVERY game is a toss up, see Austin Peay in TBA last year, much less stress once you accept this.

Vandy should suck this year, it's my prediction that no matter where we play them we should beat them, I'm sorry you don't agree. That's the thing with opinions however, you don't have to agree with them all.

Looks like UK actually has to play its share of Thursday/Saturday swings this season. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that. They have two of them, and we just have one.

This schedule is VERY favorable IMO. I see no way we win less than 20 games and more likely in the 22-24 win range.

Should lead to a good seed and us neon favored to make the sweet 16.

Relax a bit. Geesh. You should take some of your own advice some times and get some thicker skin.

I didn't say Vandy would beat UT. And I fully expect UT will win that game. But to say as you have that the game shouldn't even be close and that losing at Vanderbilt will make the season unsuccesful is just too much. I do agree we should beat them, but it's just not the "chalk it up win" you want it to be. None of the road games are.

I like having a little more than the normal time off before the Virginia, Xavier, and Memphis games. I was hoping for a week off before the Georgetown games. Teams can help themselves with the big Nov./Dec. non-conference games by giving themselves more time to prepare than they get during the structured conference schedule.
