2012 PAC-12 Championship Game: #18 UCLA v #8 Stanford II - "This Time, It's Personal"

Stanford by 4. UCLA will come out a lot more fired up this time around, but I don't think they can pull it out.

Aerial shot. Both endzone seats are almost completely empty lower and upper deck.

Stanford doesnt seem to be a terribly huge fanbase...in fact, the stadium's capacity got reduced(/rebuilt) from the 85 thousands in 2005 to a then-newer stadium holding around 50,000

(who would want to go to a rain game this time of year anyway)

They might have recently chosen to expand the stadium again though, not sure

(I also know that their first sell out in this new stadium wasnt until 2008 vs USC)

51 yard TD, UCLA 7-0

Kid breaks a school record set by Maurice Jones-Drew

...Gus Johnson just makes games more fun somehow

Mazzone auditioning for head coaching gigs. Guy is ridiculously good.

Terrible officiating. In what universe is he down at the 1? Looks like they'll fix it upon review though

QB gets hit (I think) as he throws; INT and Stanford returns it from their side of the field to the UCLA 1

The guy who picked it off already had 3 INT returns for TD on the season, the NCAA record for a year is 4

Based on the review, he either was a yard short or he just tied an NCAA record

Hogan looking strong early at QB. David Shaw and Greg Roman at work. Like to see either of them at least interviewed by UT.

I think the Stanford D might have gotten in the UCLA QB's head (after that big pick) based on that last 3 and out

Could be where wheels start coming off
