I read somewhere( can't recall) that Stokes said if he had to commit right now it would be Missouri or Tenn, not Memphis. Thought that was interesting.

Thanks guys.

I do write longer posts than most people.

I also like stirring the pot sometimes.

I should not criticize some posters on here for personal attacks and engage in them myself.

Most of the people on here who attack me personally are people who at some point provoked me and who I mocked. Some of them cannot write (see my signature which was a quote from a guy during an argument) and some of them cannot read (calling a page long post a novel indicates that twitter and calvin and hobbes is all some on here can take).

I love the Vols, and I love having a free place to talk about them with fans who are as passionate as I am.

Mike Anderson has some decent ties to the Memphis area and has had success recruiting here. The Stokes situation is going to develop into an interesting recruiting process. Ive heard that he is still interested in Memphis but feared his original statements pertaining to always wanting to go to memphis would severely hamper recruitment from other worthy schools. Im not saying Memphis will get him but Pastner has made his case and Stokes wants to see what else is out there. I figure it to end up a lot like the Adonis situation however Stokes is not nearly as much of a Memphis lean as AT was in the final month leading up to last Thursday.

Something else of note, his high school along with one other received a letter from the state telling them that they will receive the "Death Penalty" from the TSSAA for their fighting issues with another local school. the state has basically said they will shut athletics down completely at these two school if one more altercation breaks out. That could lead to an interesting turn of events for him.

If that happens, he will be a lock for Memphis. They already know how to deal with player fighting issues.

Im not sure why you keep taking shots at Memphis. Im offering some information while youre making it a childish conquest. I only defended Kendrick because its obvious no one here, at least that has posted so far, has any knowledge of the situation. Stokes isnt a fighter but he has a couple of firecrackers on his team.

If that happens, he will get eligible at another school pretty quickly, IMO. You know how its done. Transfer to Olive Branch for 4-6 weeks only to transfer back into the City Schools (or Private or County). You are eligible immediately.
