That is when he lied to them. I'm just saying we are still at the tip of the iceberg

Incorrect. Hamilton himself said the letter came as they are wrapping things up...not starting. To be concluded by December says the NCAA. They may decide to add additional sanctions, but nothing else is going to come up.

This is good to hear. Again, I really doubt recruits give a damn that Bruce made extra phone calls, and they know he manned up and admitted his mistakes. As long as we don't get extra penalties out of this, I think we'll be okay.

Well said 4eva....Bruce made mistakes, like we all do. But, who is man enough to admit and face the punishment? Great to hear this prospect understands a little about life.

Once the NCAA started digging, he had no other choice. His problem in the first place was that he wasn't "man enough" to play by the rules and he tried to do it all in secret and lie about it. His sudden growth of a conscience was to save his own behind. If he didn't come out with the truth at this point, and let UT try to deal with it, then the punishment would be far worse. He gets no extra man points from me.

And recruits could care less....

Speculation at it's greatest...I'm pretty certain CBP doesn't need your or anyone else's man points.

cardASSian, you must be on one side of that or the other. He either manned up or he didn't. Well guess what, he DID. I'd rather a coach realized he told a lie and understand it needs correcting than to tell another lie. He's @ least smarter for that. And he "grabbed the bull by the horns" and faced it. Can't get around that.
