I still believe when all is said and done that Kaela will, in fact, be a Lady Vol! She is way too great to end up at GA or UCLA! As far as AJ is concerned, they are pretty tight. In fact, her entire family is extremely close; Candace included. I know Candace is just her God sister, but she views Kaela as her lil sis. I think if she will end up at Duke before she does Georgia. I think it says a lot when the LV coaches made the trip to visit with her twice in the same week!

hope we get her!her Jannah,Mercades, and Emmonnie im sure anybody could live with us pulling those 4! size with athleticism is what Pat built this program with and all 4 could be changers on any team, so CHEERS to getting some commits after this weekend sure would liven up Volnation if one dropped a verbal

It is a big weekend for sure. It has to nerve racking for Holly. She has waited all of her life for this opportunity and in large part her success will be determined by who she signs this year and that will in large part be determine by who she convinces to come here this weekend.

That would be great to get her up there with the recruits that'll be there! Of course, it could just be a rumor as well. Remember, she was in Waco last week even though she never left her bed! Lol. I do know that Mercedes tweeted last night "@KaelaD3 is gonna be there this weekend too!?" so maybe she knows something for real! Could you imagine a class of Davis, Russell, Harper, Tucker, and either Cooper, Henderson, or even Scafie?!?! :blink::blink:

I still believe and hope that Mercedes chooses the Lady Vols and when she does I think a couple others will follow suit and commit as well. I don't know anything about Davis now but with the coaches visiting it definitely looks good for TN.

Looks like Kaela will indeed be on her official this weekend along with the others! This is GREAT news, and I hope she realizes exactly why she's ALWAYS wanted to be a Lady Vol!!! If you get a chance, go look at her new highlight reel on YouTube! She is going to be a phenom in college! It would be awesome to bring her and Mercedes recruiting to an end with this official! Instead of giving these ladies a reason to committ, I hope that they see that there is no way they cannot committ to become Lady Vols!

I love Lady Vols bball, but its funny to watch that highlight reel...the only thing I could think while watching was how easy it must be to be good at women's basketball....I need to be the next Juana Mann.

And Mercedes Russell's highlights make her look slow on the court. One commentary says shes the highschool version of Candace Parker....I won't go full :loco: , but just say thats a tough order to fill...

There is NO ONE in WBB that is the equivalent of Candace! For anyone to compare another player to Parker isn't fair to that player. Candace is arguably, the most talented player to ever grace the game. A lot of our Northern friends are claiming the Bree Stewart is just as good as Candace was coming out of high school, and that's simply not true! Mercedes and Kaela are both going to be program changers wherever they end up! Let's just hope they both end up in Knoxville for classes this summer!

So from what i have gathered most of the recruits on campus will be signing with whomever NOV 10! hopin for all six

Coates has been a So Car lean for a long time, and I'm not sure that has changed. Some have even said she is a silent commit to Dawn Staley and the Lady Gamecocks.

Linnae Harper would like to play with Mercedes Russell and vice versa. The only school on both of their short lists is Tennessee. LSU, Tenn, UConn have been suggested as the top three for Harper, but I think that is because of a spell check underline of those three schools on a fairly recent list of eleven schools that she posted!

Mercedes Russell and Emmonie Henderson are in communication with each other. Long considered a heavy Purdue lean, Henderson is down to Louisville, Purdue and Tennessee.

I personally think it is going to come down between Stanford and UConn for McCall, with Stanford having the slight edge.

I think it will be difficult to get Kendall Cooper away from the west coast. Of those you mentioned, with what I presume was tongue in cheek, I think UCLA has the best shot with her.

I also think that Andy Landers has consistently done less with more since the Saudia Rountree days at Georgia. I doubt the number 1 class in the nation would "get Georgia back in the game big time"!

I think were down to signing four maybe or just three. I'm very glad to have Russell and Tucker. If Kaela Davis joins them and hopefully another big strong post player were set for next season. Massengale and Carter point, Simmons,Burdick, Jones, Phillips, and Tucker wings, Russell, Harrison, and Graves inside. I think Jones can also play in there.

Of the 2013 class I still think the Lady Vols have a very good shot at Kaela Davis, Jordan Reynolds and Tyler Scaife.
