2013 Tennessee Football Junior Days

Don't quote me, but I'm not certain that is allowed unless they purchase their own ticket.

I think that the athletes can be provided tickets to sporting events as long as the event is on campus. Not 100% on that tho.

That is an absolutely insane list. 34 kids is just sick. Really hope to get one or two commits. Also very excited to hear some of the legacies' reactions to the weekend.

Here's a little clarity on the UOV rules

The only expenses a college-bound student-athlete may receive from a college during an unofficial visit are three tickets to a home sports event.
Becoming Eligible - NCAA.org

Per NCAA rules, the school is allowed to give athletes a maximum of three tickets to each sporting event that is issued through a pass list. These have to be regular season events within a thirty mile radius to the campus. Basically what that means is the school cannot be giving tickets to recruits of their bowl game or NCAA tournament game. Unofficial visits can occur at any time.

The difference between that and an official visit is that the college programs pays for you as an athlete to take that official visit. They can fly you in or reimburse you for your driving expense included in the visit. There are also more rules surrounding the official visit that includes food, lodging, and other specific monetary amounts that are enforced by the NCAA.

Does anyone know what the bad news for the Vols is right before Jr. Day? I just read it on ESPN.com I am not an insider so I could not see the whole thing.

Heard Wes Rucker on Nashville radio earlier say something like there will be a dozen or so recruits in this weekend. I think he needs to recount lol
