And the kid can kick. I'm kidding but seriously I think I saw just as many touch backs in that video then we had all season.

I love how when he scores a TD he simply throws the ball to the ref and ACTS LIKE HE'S BEEN THERE BEFORE

Because he has. Honest truth. I watched his film a while back and quit because there were so many scoring highlights. He makes it look easy.

My only worry about this is, the competition that he is playing. They seem, small. But yeah looks great, thanks!

Maybe he's really big? A 6'4" receiver is going to make average high school athletes look small. Trust me, we have one on our high school team. Man among boys.

He's going to be in for a culture shock when he gets in Neyland stadium in front of 100K fans. The majority of his games look like it was mostly empty stands.

This kid does look like a man among boys. The competition in the maryland\DC 'burbs is pretty good. What stood out for me is he is quite thick and strong for a freshman. long strides may be fooling some on his speed. He is larger than Kelly Washington at the same age and Kelly played (a mile away from me) at a much lower level than this. (2A in VA). Would have liked to see him leap a little on the video. Glad to have him.

At least he's better than Palardy. I'm hoping his camps show what he can do better than that video.

Seems to have really good body control (no homo). Saw several balls thrown behind him where he turned his hips really effortlessly to make the catch. Agree that some more leaping would have been nice to see, but when you are 6'4" and the DBs are 5'10" you don't really have to.

If we can pull North, that is going to be one nasty WR corps.

6'4" M. North
6'4" P. Harris
6'5" J. Croom

Then Pig and Jenkins in the Slot? Either Worley or Peterman will shine.

He does seem physical; however, I'm not sure I saw him run full speed throughout that whole video. The good thing about this video is that it shows he is multi-dimensional, and this was his Junior year of high school. One negative thing I noticed was that the corners appeared to be giving him a five and ten yard cushion on almost every route he ran. That won't happen in the SEC. He may be one of those that blossoms later in his career rather than an immediate contributor.

Generally speaking, smallish db's get manhandled by the bigger 6'3"+ WR's. Longer arms means they can get their hands on your pads and toss you around. Giving them a cushion negates that advantage (until the ball is in the air).

I noticed that as well. I think you can tell a good deal about someone when you watch them celebrate success. I love the act like you have been there approach. Even did it after the guy leg tackled him after he scored. It did not phase him and he did not retaliate by talking or taunting. Hopefully, that is maturity.

Great straight ahead speed, so-so route running, excellent understanding of body positioning on inside slants, excellent athlete overall. He is just one of those guys that is just so much better than everyone around him he makes it look easy.

The competition seemed small and slow if that's possible. I think you can roughly judge a school or division's talent by the quality of their field and stands. Those in this video looked pretty rough. But, the guy still impresses. He's tall and has range. He looks to be able to change direction too.

A lot of people are talking about the stature of his competition in the video. The dude is 6'4" and it's high school. I know of all the DB's I ever played with in high school, there might have been 2 who even broke 6 feet. The vast majority of them were in the 5'8" - 5'11" range.

Wouldn't worry too much about the competition. He has good size and deceptive speed. He hasn't had to deal with the presses he will have to deal with in the SEC but he looks strong enough and pretty physical. Don't think he will be a JH or DR Frosh type but excited for him in the future.

The clip around 1:20 looks like hunter when he caught that slant against ole miss and took it to the house.

I'm excited to see what he can do under great coaching!!!

This is true. My bro was 6'2 in middle school and around 6'5' in high school. It was almost comical seeing him beside kids his own age. With exception of the few super-high schools out there that openly recruit from a very large pool of potential players people just aren't that tall or muscular in their teen years or even at their full adult height.

The average American adult male is right at 5'10.2' and as a nation we're one of the tallest groups in the world (Denmark and the Netherlands beat us out but only slightly).
