The FR-S with that $25k I think offers more bang for the buck fun than any other car on the market. Unless you are adamantly opposed to Japanese cars, there's really nothing not to like about it. Until that, the only cheap and well put together FR fun was the Miata, which makes the same kind of statement about one's sexuality as a hot pink Jeep Wrangler. How so? I don't get it, I would not buy it if I had the money, but I am happy to see that they are pumping out performance cars. Same deal with the scion frs. I would not buy one, but I am glad they are making it.
I've also learned that me not understanding does not make it a bad idea. I thought the idea of the iPad was dumb when it launched. I'll be damned if I didn't want one a year later.
you could buy a stock camaro and make it a 10 second car for that kinda money. Hell, I didnt have 75k in the last 7 second car I had. No way they will sell many of them for that price.
Why would you spend that kinda money when you can buy a GT500 for less and outrun it backwards.

As for the Camaro, also glad to see that kind of car being made, but could buy an AMG, M series, IS-F, or RS 5 and still have thousands to spare. That's completely silly.

just thought it was interesting, and seems like most of the motorheads are posting in here
pretty big increases across the board, for a poor economy
Fair enough about the FR-S, but it's the only well done cheap FR that won't make people question which team you play for.The frs is a personal taste thing for me. I would be hard pressed to turn down the more powerful and better looking v6 mustang. It's going to be even more difficult when the new stang comes out.
As an aside the rs5 is my favorite audi but they are super rare. I only know of two in East Tennessee. Also, the rs5 is pretty much the same price as the z-28. It is a lot nicer inside than the z-28 will be though.
I saw one for the first time on I-10 in Houston the other day. They look OK, but I still think the C-6 is a better looking car. The rear of the 7's arent that great to me, but they didnt ask me before they designed it, so I guess they like it.

And aren't mustangs still LRA? Yeah, no thanks.
I'm aware that the RS5 is hard to find, but I'm sure if you went to your local Audi dealer ready to buy with maybe a little extra cash, they would find one for you. Even after greasing some wheels you're probably still coming out better than the Camaro's price tag, and with infinitely more luxury to boot.
Give me the C Class AMG any day, though.
Funny, I look at the c6 now, and outside of the special cars (zo6, zr1, GS) and it doesn't do it for me. Even crazier I think the c5 looks better now that 18 years have passed. I like the rear of the c7 in a very transformer/anime sort of way. Very subjective car from the looks department.
when I picked up my car at the dealer today, sat in the bew vette
the interior is very nice, doesn't feel or look cheap (lots of plastic) like I've seen in earlier models
