Think I've been figuring this scoring thing wrong. To be straight, you're talking the final score subtracted from par, correct? So, when Adam had 5 birdies, the double bogey canceled out two of them. Is that right?

I only count the lowest scorer by hole. If someone birdies 18 but someone else eagles it, only the eagle is counted.

Does that help? It is the best score by hole using the golfers you selected.

I'm not looking at your team. Not at home. If he was your only golfer, his entire score counts. The double you referenced has to count if no one else could give you something better that hole.

When you are down to one, you get what they get. Obviously best to have more than one make the cut.

Its the best score of your 4 golfers per hole. If 3 guys bogey #1, but 1guy birdiez it, you get a -1 for the 1st hole.

You get the best score per hole from your combined group of players. If one of them eagles and one birdies it, you get the eagle. If two or even all four of your players birdie the same hole, you only get one birdie.

Just like playing a best ball tournament.
