I drafted a random 5x5 H2H league on ESPN... Not my favorite league style, but I was fairly bored. If you have any thoughts hit me.
C - Brian McCann
1B - Eric Hosmer
2B - Jedd Gyorko
3B - Evan Longoria
SS - Ian Desmond
2B/SS - Brian Dozier
1B/3B - Ryan Zimmerman
OF - Ryan Braun (2nd round pick. Really counting on him)
OF - Giancarlo Stanton
OF - Wil Myers (Hoping he can be a pleasant surprise in the BA department)
OF - Alex Gordon
OF - Christian Yelich
UTIL - Jose Abreu (Also slides into corner IF spot when Zimmerman and/or Longoria are inevitably DLed)
Bench - Norichi Aoki, Anthony Rendon
P - Clayton Kershaw (4th overall)
P - Gerrit Cole
P - Jordan Zimmermann
P - Danny Salazar (Was not able to watch him last year, but by all accounts he's a bad man)
P - Francisco Liriano
P - Chris Archer
P - Alex Wood (Think he'll be the #5? If not, no harm done... I can pick up Porcello or others. Just like Wood's strikeouts)
RP - Sergio Romo
RP - Grant Balfour
RP - Jim Henderson
Can drop would for a guy like Jose Veras or Latroy Hawkins. Melancon and Clippard may get saves.
From a real-life perspective, that staff would be a lot of fun, especially with Wood as the lefty in the 'pen.
Lineup:
LF - Braun
1B - Hosmer
3B - Longoria
RF - Stanton
C - McCann
DH - Abreu, Zimmerman, or Myers
SS - Desmond
CF - Gordon
2B - Gyorko
If they want to utilize a situational lefty, they will deal with the righty thunder that follows.
