My league does 6x6 scoring, roto format.

Offense: AVG, HR, RBI, R, SB, OBP

Pitching: ERA, WHIP, Wins, K, Saves, Holds

Adding in holds makes useful the by and large previously useless middle reliever. I wouldn't object to my league changing OBP to OPS.

Above all else......

AUCTION FTW!!!

Auction? Why that instead of Snake?

It's more realistic, IMO. Every owner has an equal opportunity to acquire every player. More strategy involved as well. Many folks like doing the snake draft, which is fine too, but I think the auction brings a whole different aspect to building your team. Just my .02

I drafted a random 5x5 H2H league on ESPN... Not my favorite league style, but I was fairly bored. If you have any thoughts hit me.

C - Brian McCann
1B - Eric Hosmer
2B - Jedd Gyorko
3B - Evan Longoria
SS - Ian Desmond
2B/SS - Brian Dozier
1B/3B - Ryan Zimmerman
OF - Ryan Braun (2nd round pick. Really counting on him)
OF - Giancarlo Stanton
OF - Wil Myers (Hoping he can be a pleasant surprise in the BA department)
OF - Alex Gordon
OF - Christian Yelich
UTIL - Jose Abreu (Also slides into corner IF spot when Zimmerman and/or Longoria are inevitably DLed)

Bench - Norichi Aoki, Anthony Rendon

P - Clayton Kershaw (4th overall)
P - Gerrit Cole
P - Jordan Zimmermann
P - Danny Salazar (Was not able to watch him last year, but by all accounts he's a bad man)
P - Francisco Liriano
P - Chris Archer
P - Alex Wood (Think he'll be the #5? If not, no harm done... I can pick up Porcello or others. Just like Wood's strikeouts)

RP - Sergio Romo
RP - Grant Balfour
RP - Jim Henderson
Can drop would for a guy like Jose Veras or Latroy Hawkins. Melancon and Clippard may get saves.

From a real-life perspective, that staff would be a lot of fun, especially with Wood as the lefty in the 'pen.

Lineup:
LF - Braun
1B - Hosmer
3B - Longoria
RF - Stanton
C - McCann
DH - Abreu, Zimmerman, or Myers
SS - Desmond
CF - Gordon
2B - Gyorko

If they want to utilize a situational lefty, they will deal with the righty thunder that follows.

1.) Batting Average (AVG)
2.) Home Runs (HR)
3.) Runs Scored (R)
4.) Runs Batted In (RBI)
5.) Stolen Bases (SB)
6.) On Base plus Slugging Pct (OPS)

I'm thinking Trout over Cabrera in this.

Swapped $39/2 McCutchen for $7/2 Altuve and $1/1 Starlin Castro.

What are y'alls thoughts about Dee Gordon? Looks like he's gonna be the starting 2B for the Dodgers, at least early. I could keep him for $1.

I actually drafted Gordon today in my dynasty league as a backup SS. I think he could stick at 2b for dodgers

I've taken a liking to Brandon Moss

How big is the roster? just standard?

i kind of like Aoki if you need a roster spot filled late.

Honestly, Rendon.
