2014 Illinois SG Peyton Allen

For what it's worth, Butch just signed a kid in this years class from the same school and very good friends with Allen. He's also friends with Larry Austin. Not sure it's been mentioned in the 17 pages.

It has, but worth repeating.

Just the fact Roy made the trip, merrily hours after his team played, shows just how serious his interest in Allen is.

The team Glenwood played is a conference rival that knows Allen very well, and apparently has some bad blood. A reporter said before the game that team would do everything it could to shut down Allen, and would love to basically cost him a scholarship offer. They doubled him on every touch, and have up open looks to other guys, Allen still finished with around 20 iirc though.
