Yes, and you made a pretty smart-arse, unthankful statement, so there's that.

After heartbreaking losses like last nights, I'm so thankful that we still have kids like these that want to play for us. Comments like yours "Oh yay, does this make us bowl eligible?" is full of ignorance. It's pretty simple. These kids and commits don't owe us anything, and by having the attitude that you did, you can't sit there and say that we deserve to have them commit to us because we've been on a downhill slide for some time, just because you want to see us winning again. It's the "what have you done for me lately?" mentality, and it's ignorant.

What are you, the fan police? It's a joke for some of you to come in here after a terrible loss and tell everyone it's okay because we got a 3 star Juco DT, and expect everyone to instantly be satisfied.

I was merely pointing out, a commit, regardless of their level, doesn't make up for that performance. If you look at one of my posts I said I was glad he wanted to play for us.

I also said the fans deserve a winning football team. I never said we deserve to have them commit to us.

Wow, you get riled up really easily. I understand what your'e saying but it seemed like the tone of your statement was really sarcastic and more like, "Whoop dee do, another commit."

Just seemed really arrogant. Maybe we misunderstood each other, so whatever, I'm also glad he's committed. If there's one thing that I'm ecstatic over its the fact that these kids still do want to play for us after losses like that. Even if CBJ did have these announcements planned, there's nothing holding a kid to their promise to make the announcement as planned vs. backing out.

I'm just pumped that we have the class we do, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they bring to the table. So my apologies if you were offended.

I get where you are coming from. I'm glad we have a great class at this point. I've stayed positive for 5 years, and despite being a Butch fan, I'm at my limit after last night.

Did I see a post where this kid is a 2nd team JUCO All American?

Fast for a big guy and fills a position of serious need and that's real recruiting IMO!
