I keep thinking he seems to be Butler bound seems to be a great fit for him. I'd be glad to have him at Tennessee but I like a lot of other players better and hope we get them.

So you're familiar with Shane Hall's game, and what system fits him best?

I don't know about system, but Butler looks like his best offer right now. Like Davell Roby, I doubt his Tennessee offer is "commitable" and the rest of his list is Butler, UAB, Miami OH, Morehead, Indiana State and Wright State.

I know he has been injured, and maybe that's the problem, but Hall's recruitment seems to have stalled.

I'm not sure about Hall's offer from Tennessee. I think the staff likes him, but they may wanna wait and find out about Hurt, London and a few others before they took a commitment from Hall.

Lmao thank you. Saying he's a great rebounder and passer is the most generic statement ever for why someone fits a system.

He's white and isn't good enough for Duke, so OP goes with Butler lol.

You realize he has a standing offer with Butler acceptable at any time. That isn't the case with Tennessee.

His Dad says he has the offer and that he really likes Butler. There have been several articles on this here is one.http://www.indystar.com/article/20120907/SPORTS02/209070329/Recruiting-notebook-Butler-offers-Kentucky-forward-Hall

As for Tennessee I got my information from you about he can't commit right now to Tennessee.

I wasn't questioning the butler offer, I was questioning what you said about Tennessee.

Where'd I say this definitively?

You didn't but said you thought they might not accept a commit right now which was something I agreed with. If he commits and is accepted before Hurt, Looney, London, and Mitchell find a home will be quite surprised.

Totally basing this off the video's available online, but I think if this kid is ready to commit in Sept. we should take it. I appreciate that their may still be higher rated players available but
1. Till CCM has developed a reputation for getting his teams to the big tourney I just dont think we can afford to be that choosy.
2. With the exception of Looney, I think this kid may have as high a ceiling as anybody else we are waiting on. IMO

I agree with you that I'd take him, the luxury the staff has with Hall is that he wants to wait til around October. That gives them plenty of time with looney and London to see where they stand and may make a decision by then.

I do think London has a higher ceiling, but I'm very high on London, so jmo.

Hey I hear ya on London too. Didn't he go from a 3* being 130-140th player, to a 4* 80th(per rivals)?

If Hall and London wanted to commit right now, and your the coach, do you take both and roll the dice that you probably weren't gonna get Looney anyway? Or do you take London, tell Hall to hold on while you check the other line. And wait on Looney to decide?

He wasn't even rated in the top 150 by rivals, he was an unranked 3* and im went to a top 100 4*.

I would take London and slow play hall. Hall I see as a 4, Cofer is similar and London could play the 4 also. I would put my biggest efforts into hurt at that point honestly, he's a very important piece of this 2014 class IMO.
