Not sure what you're talking about here, but ok.

UGA had no chance at all at it in 2005. Look up the year's BCS rankings from before the conference championships. All they had to play for was a better bowl, pride, and the chance to play spoiler.



But you're also talking about a game where the team that wasn't the opening favorite has only won about 5 times total.

(Also LSU was ranked 24 in both the coaches and AP polls that year; they just weren't ranked in that week's BCS.)

Other than the 2005 correction (thanks btw), I can't figure out how any of the rest of your post applies to this conversation. Read it 3 times and I'm clueless.

Bottom line, my opinion is that Mizzou has zero chance of winning because they are ranked 16 and have no shot at the playoffs/championship. IOW, if necessary, the SEC would bail Bama out through officiating, rather than miss the playoffs. JMO.

Hopefully thats clearer.

It's the correct call, and I'm not surprised considering he laid a hit just as dirty on an Arkansas player last week.
