Miami could have a stadium on campus in Coral Gables and it wouldn't sell out right now.

It's just a unique fan base in a unique city. They don't care as nearly enough about the team when they should (unless FSU or UF are in town), and they could care less about showing up for a 4-loss bowl team.

Which is why 4/5 star recruits should think twice about going there

I loved the old Orange Bowl...LOVED it.

My late uncle was on the OB committee back in the day, and he would give my father and I a couple tickets for the bowl game on NYD. Saw Clemson win its only national title on NYD 1982...my first OB experience.

My first NFL game ever was the SD-Miami game where Kellen Winslow (the dad, not the punk kid) played the game of his life.

Oh I agree about the fanbase. It's an endemic of all Miami sports. In August 2003, my dad took some buddies and me to a Marlins game before we all headed off to college, there wasn't 8k fans at that game. 2 months later, in October me and 2 of those same buddies are sitting amongst 67k fans for Game 5 of the World Series. Miami sports fans are the most fickle and bandwagoness of any city in the country. Then they act like they've been "along for the ride" the whole time.

Didnt know how to post a slide show -- the link is posted -- the TCU unis are ugly -- i would laugh if Nike did that to the reptiles in Florida

It's not the stadium that's the problem it's the location !

Imo when they destroyed the Orange bowl they destroyed there tradition !

Tennessee was bad but we still had NEYLAND stadium

Miami lost everything stadium and fans and a lot of its memories

They need a reboot more then any power program and that's what Adidas could do if they turned them into the Oregon of the south
