I don't know of anyone in any kind of connection to the Clemson program that saw Bryant as anything special. Yes Bryant had some fans simply because he was a local boy.

It’s a virtual guarantee that QBs are gonna Transfer if they don’t get the nod. Especially a highly rated 4-5 star who had been worshipped their whole life. They all seem to feel their entitled and are locks to end up in the NFL.

Hell we have two middle of the road 3 stars on our team who are on transfer watch it seems.

And the days of QB's willing to either split time or serve as a backup for more than 1 season are over. DJ Shockley was a 4 star at Georgia, who backed up David Greene from '02-'04. That will never happen again.

He has also dealt with injuries. We will see a healthy JG be a better runner. He actually had a couple nice scrambles last year.

I do not remember any nice runs he had made in the two years I have watched him. The best thing that could happen to UT next year is that JG transfers after the O/W game.

how many elite schools are there? 6? Bama, Clemson, Ohio St, Oklahoma... that;s 4 and I think any others are questionable to be there

Depends on which JG we get. The one that played Vandy and Indiana won't start the second half of the first game if Harrison bailey is as good as advertised.
The JG that beat Missouri might start most of the year.
