FWIW, 247 doesn't hold camps like Rivals does. Heard Callahan say that on an interview earlier this summer. They attend camps but don't hold their own.

Maybe 247 values competition level in Memphis more and being based instate you'd think they'd have a better handle on such things. In my experience Memphis does have a higher competition level top to bottom but things are changing midstate and over here in the east. Whereas there is normally 1-2 teams that dominate mid/east and those individual teams might be good there are less cupcakes in Memphis sheerly based on population and demographics.

They can say they don't but they do in other ways. If you notice there are events that you still only see 247 or Rivals at. Such as rivals 5 star challenge and the opening(247 and ESPN)....there is still bias on both ends for attending their "events" and "games"
