How does his outside shot look? Never been able to watch him play

The shot was great today but more of a set shot. I thought he passed well but as the OP said he's very soft

Definitely a good looking shot from that video. Would certainly agree as well a redshirt year will be highly beneficial for this kid with how slender he is

Yeah, the kid can shoot, but he's really soft. He'll need a year in the weight room and Barnes tough love to instill some fire.

Numbers from AAA state semifinal for Pember: 6-9 from 2, 3-4 from 3, 4-4 FT, and 10 rebounds. Weight training and strength are his areas of focus in the coming 12 months.

Any thought of Pember helping this program as a 4/5 is out the door. Watching him now he's strictly a spot up outside shooter that has no future in the paint imo.

Yeah, I have to think the hope of the staff is that he can develop into a stretch 4 like Fulkerson. Otherwise, you have Pember, Gaines, Corey Walker, Pons, and Jalen Johnson in 2020, all who primarily play one position. Now, there may be some attrition, but we could also add someone like Keon Johnson to that mix. Seems like we may need to diversify that portfolio a bit.

Sure, they would likely add someone, because we would need help in the post. You said we didn't need much help next year in the post.

As things stand we don’t, If someone leaves we do...we don’t need PG help, but if Bone declares and Turner grad transfers we sure as hell do, no?

FWIW, when I said that, I meant a decent shot that only 3 of the 5 you named were here. Not that we wouldn't try and replace them.

It does, but you have to consider the limited options that will be available if Williams and Kent, or Bone and Turner were to leave.

It will be an uphill climb to find an impact player at that point. Do we take bodies just to take bodies? Jitoboh becomes more of an option instead of prepping? Obviously a grad transfer is the ideal option if it is someone who can immediately contribute.
