2019 Target List

That’s stretching it a bit don’t you think Dog? I’m 99% sure I’m going to be dragging in the morning for waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to fall back asleep. From my experience of having raised 3 past GW’s age, there's not anything I’m that confident of concerning a 20 year old! JMO, TIFWIW, AARP
Maybe, well probably. Grant just seems like he enjoys the whole college experience. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part

I have that wishful thinking as well. Having ventured life a few years, I have absolutely no expectations of anyone. I take what I get and am glad for getting it. But, having Grant back would thrill me to no end.

Considering the room they have they got nothing to lose bringing him in
I' know you could say this about most any recruit but especially for Jitoboh it is up to him. If he is willing to work and get some weight off he could be a good player. If he could develop some simple post moves, ie baby hooks he could be effective. He is a big strong guy.

Sure, I guess. Unless, of course, he just becomes dead weight that hangs around 4 years. I'd have probably made a play for a more instant impact grad transfer before giving him the green light. If Florida doesn't get it done next year with the talent they have coming in, White's seat will be heating up.

I see a guy who is slow and heavy-footed that lacks any post moves. Just have a hard time seeing him ever developing into anything more than a 5-10 minute, 5 fouls kinda player.

You can recruit over him in a few years if need be, maybe Florida likes him long term and felt if he prepped they weren’t going to get him and so with the extra room they decided to go ahead and take him.

I pretty much agree with that assessment but as they say "you can't teach size" and this is a big kid. There are times we could have used a big body this year. There were times Alexander was just out muscled. That's one of the reasons I am excited to see Burns next year.

Want to get your draft stock to rise?

Play your best games when it counts and everyone is watching (starting tonight all the way to the title game).

Williams is gone if he plays out of his mind and we win the big games. He would definitely be a first round selection.

Bone has been somewhat underwhelming the past few games. Hope he steps it up. If he does and returns next year, he would be a first round lottery prospect with a more consistent jump shot.

Schofield needs to come back and work on being more consistent jump shooter and develop some more post moves and he could turn out to be a 2nd round pick.

Schofield is a senior.

Yeah, we can cherry pick examples to the contrary all day. I'll just be surprised if this guy is ever in Pittman's class. Kyle Alexander was a better looking prospect. I'd be shocked if Jitoboh ever becomes Kyle Alexander.

2 completely different players, but do I think Jitoboh can match KA’s ppg/rpg/bpg by junior/senior year, yea probably.

Not comparing their styles, but they are completely different players because KA is infinitely more athletic and mobile. I'll be floored if Jitoboh ever averages 7.3 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 1.7 bpg in the SEC. It would take dramatic improvement based on footage I've seen. Not impossible, but his footwork and lack of quickness will be difficult to overcome in a league like the SEC.

I just have a hard time seeing him be able to keep up with the speed of the athletes he will face at the SEC level. Speed/quickness will be a major hindrance and unfortunately there is only so much room you can grow in that area. You can't create 'quick twitch' where it doesn't exist. Moves and is built like Boomer Herndon.

We see the same things, then.

Man, would that be awesome, or what? Maybe Rick is convinced Bone isn’t returning, no matter what. I find that tough to believe.

Bone has definitely made it known he intends to leave, now that door isn’t closed and maybe he has a change of heart but right now he’s pretty intent on leaving. With that said it makes it tough on the staff, you can’t wait around for another 6 weeks, maybe this offer to Cone is contingent on Bone leaving and they’ve communicated he has to wait until after May 29 to commit if that’s what he wants? Or maybe Tennessee knows they have the room even if Bone is to return, idk.
