2020 Presidential Race

More people have voted for him to President then me. I donā€™t know if thatā€™s a poor reflection of me or them.
i was laughing so hard I couldnā€™t hardly finish the part where he got an attorney and sued the city for ā€œ right to pony ā€œ and won . What really got me though was the city made him pay parking for the ponies like they were cars . šŸ˜‚

Vermin Supreme.

Sounds the house specialty at Wuhan Dynasty Buffet.

To the leftists, it is collateral damage. I already know of one suicide so far.

But it's Trump's fault.

not

It's despicable. These who advocate openly or indirectly chaos in the name of I can't take care of myself unless government is there holding my hand. This country is itching for the government to rip the band-aid off the big government experience but it's difficult because of how far we are into the experiment how many Americans currently depend on the government. Our grandparents and great grandparents would turn us over their knees.

I am reminded of that scene in "Cinderella Man" when he returns his welfare payment.

Report: A Secret Society of Pro-Biden Republicans Aims to Take the J-Man to Glorytown

So howā€™s that Biden campaign going? Well, in addition to locking in many Democrat-or-Bust loyalists, Joe roping Republicans.

So claims The Daily Beast.

According to TDB, the presumptive presidential nomineeā€™s team is building a ā€œsecretā€ group of GOP supporters aimed at seducing otherwise Trumpsters to cast their votes for the J-man.

During a livechat with soccer star Megan Rapinoe in late April, Biden said heā€™d been ā€œspeaking to a lot of Republicans.ā€ That included ā€œformer colleaguesā€ who, he claimed, were ā€œcalling and saying, ā€˜Joe, if you win, weā€™re gonna help.'ā€

He even offered the following:
ā€œMatter of fact, thereā€™s some major Republicans who are already forming ā€˜Republicans for Biden.ā€™ Major officeholders.ā€
And now, as per the Beast, that planā€™s ā€œstarting to get underway in certain Republican circles behind-the-scenes.ā€

Citing sources ā€œdirectly familiar with the matter,ā€ the outlet reports that discussions of ā€œmessaging, engagement, leadership, and roll-out are starting to be broadly sketched out.ā€

An unnamed top official in the Party of Lincolnā€™s purportedly involved in the preliminary talks.

Hereā€™s what he told the TDB:
ā€œIā€™ve had several conversations with people who have approached me. Itā€™s going to take off, itā€™s going to happen. The question is to what degree and form it does. You donā€™t want something like this out on the street before it needs to be. It just makes it much harder to do.ā€
The Beast also notes Bidenā€™s expressed penchant for working with those across the aisle, and the piece lays out two possible iterations for a pro-Joe Republican effort:
The article mentions a few potential key players, including former Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake, former Florida Rep. David Jolly, political analyst Charlie Sykes, Weekly Standard founder and The Bulwark Editor-At-Large Bill Kristol, and former RNC Chair Michael Steele.

Billā€™s a no-brainer (see RedState writer Nick Aramaā€™s article ā€œBill Kristol Formally Comes Out of the Closet, Admits Heā€™s a Democratā€œ):

Among the possible flag-wavers for Biden, TDB points to one NeverTrumper as a standout: former Republican Ohio Gov. (and current CNN commentator) John Kasich.

However, a senior strategist for John has denied any such workings.

Would a major Republican name really join a Democratā€™s campaign in a prominent way?

Democratic tactician Joe Trippie put it this way:
ā€œItā€™s done, but the reason itā€™s not common is there are few people willing to do that. Itā€™s not rare on the Biden campaignā€™s part. You just donā€™t usually have that many prominent peopleā€¦willing to cross lines in the middle of a presidential campaign.ā€
Presently, we have a man running for the highest office in the land with a very substantial and evident medical issue. And itā€™s not the kind of problem that gets better with time. Why are Democrats sticking around? It seems to me the sexual assault allegations provide a convenient basis for a switch to someone more primed to lead. But Bidenā€™s apparent confusion shouldā€™ve done that already.

The Democratic Party, in my view, has seemed largely disinterested in the election. Whatā€™s going on? With impeachment, they dragged Joe through massive amounts of mud. And now heā€™s embarrassing himself by relentlessly displaying health issues in front of the whole world. Why are they letting him do this?

Sources Claim Biden's Campaign is Building an Anti-Trump Republican Coalition

ā€œand has said that if elected President of the United States, he will pass a law requiring people to brush their teeth.ā€

How libertarian of him.
It was strange how he is a stated peaceful anarchist, thought the libertarians stood for too much government, and then decided to run as an R or D, in three different election cycles. You were going the wrong way buddy
