He doesn’t have to let that happen. Just like he didn’t have to allow the previous trillions to happen.

I agree with that. I don’t agree with Trump throwing all this money at it, especially given how some has been distributed, but this was really a no-win situation. As another poster noted previously, maybe if we were more fiscally conservative at other times it wouldn’t be as big of a deal.
