A mom says she and her son were attacked by supposed Joe Biden supporters in Wilmington, Delaware after they attended what she described as a ‘peaceful protest’ against Biden.

Abbey Wigton, who says she was carrying a pro-Trump sign, and her seven year old son Riley Wigton, who was wearing a MAGA hat, were waiting to be seated at a restaurant when when two women, who Abbey claims are Biden supporters, allegedly began assaulting the pair, according to a statement from Abbey shared on Twitter.

“They ripped the sign from my arms and assaulted my seven year old son. The Joe Biden supporters laid hands on my child and ripped his ‘Make America Great Again’ hat from his head while cursing at him and pushing him over.”

To be fair, given the history of people being assaulted for wearing MAGA hats, why would you let your child wear one? The attackers were more wrong, but the mom was irresponsible for making her son a target. This isn't about he SHOULD be able to wear that hat without fear. The job of a parent is to make responsible choices for their kids and not turn them into targets.

I hope you're right on this. Everyday until the election, we can ask them, "what have these democrats done for you in their combined 100+ years in office besides incite riots and looting and pretend to be your friend and share your burden every 4 years". The more we ask them, the more they're scratching their heads.

After a ham-handed attempt at damage control with a non-apology over biased "diversity" training sparked outrage from President Trump - which in turn sparked a boycott by conservatives, Goodyear CEO Rich Kramer issued a direct apology on Thursday.

"To be clear, Goodyear does not endorse any political organization, party or candidate," reads Kramer's statement, which adds that the company "strongly supports our law enforcement partners and deeply appreciates all they do to put their lives on the line each and every day for their communities."

"We have clarified our policy to make it clear associates can express support for law enforcement through apparel at Goodyear facilities," which means - no MAGA hats, but presumably means 'Blue Lives Matter' and 'All Lives Matter' attire is now acceptable.
