2020 Presidential Race

Words don't matter, huh?

Ahhh Trumpism. History will look back at this era and shake its head. You and others, too, will likely say, "What was I thinking?".

Did you ignore everything else that is ACTUALLY taking place to go to your irrational place again ? You are worried about words when she is ACTUALLY stopping people’s 1st amendment rights . Smh

It's difficult to follow your train of 'thought' here. I'm talking about our President, and you're talking about some "government officials" and the PD.

Whataboutism alive and well I see.

Question: Do you believe Trump when he says, "the only way we're going to lose this election is if the election is rigged."

The mayor of Chicago . It’s sad that you don’t know who or where the ACTUAL violations are taking place , but interesting to watch you come up with imaginary and hypothetical scenarios to get triggered over . We’ve played this “ you ask me questions but not bother answering my questions “ game before , I’m not doing it again .

No one who can tie their own shoes believes Trump when he says that, but Trumpers are not going to call him out on it nor consider the possible implications.

You are like talking to a teenager , ignore what’s actually happening, that should be talked about , to worry about what may, possibly , could , if the right circumstances develop happen in the future. When it’s pointed out to you what you are doing you just say ..meh you don’t know . I honestly see why you hire a plumber now . Smh

It’s ridiculous that he said it . It’s not going to happen . Spinning yourselves up over it is just as ridiculous when you have mayors of your urban cities directly taking people’s 1a from them . The fact that neither of you recognize the difference in levels of danger between the two is extremely telling on how the liberal brain works .

I have no idea what you are talking about with the mayor of Chicago.

This is true. More than being a government of laws, we are run by convention and norms. We have never had an incumbent president who refused to accept the outcome of an election. We have seen the results contested, such as in 2000, but Al Gore was not an incumbent president and he did eventually accept the result.... albeit six weeks after the election. The transfer of power is critical to our system of government. If it breaks down, then there isn't as much separating us from authoritarian rule as we like to believe.

Trump isn’t a conservative but so-called conservatives cheer him on.

He is a moral reprobate yet so-called Christians cheer him on.

He believes in government interference over free markets yet so-called capitalists cheer him on.

Etc. ad nauseum . . .

Pretty sure many will cheer on whatever authoritarianism he decides we need as long as he keeps pretending to be a member of their party and, most importantly, they feel their enemies are suffering more than they are.

Now do Biden.

The Rs arent the only ones to flip stance on their candidate. And it looks the exact same from the outside.

I think it’s going to be .. Biden , Bernie , Harris

They have to cover the establishment ( Biden) , cover the lefty loons ( Bernie ) and cover the female / minority ( Harris ) . Those will be my pick for the final three . They will eat each other alive just to find one who will go to the meat grinder and run against Trump .
@0nelilreb

Nailed it.

This tweet, coming from someone who has never embodied anything even remotely close to Christian values is the height of hypocrisy. Unless you think that lying, cheating, fraud, and gluttony are Christian values. Trump is, by far, the least Christian of the two candidates - it's not even close.

Serious candidate for most ignorant post in VN history !

Kinds interesting checking this thread. Went and looked at the hundreds.

At first it was Biden, then come the debates he was a distant fourth, with Warren and Bernie in the lead.

Then the actual primary voting starts and Warren slips with Pete climbing.

And then suddenly out of nowhere it was 100% Biden no we weren't flirting with anyone else.

This is just going off thread reactions.

Trump came up with that tweet in 5 seconds while taking a dump, and it's literally all you have thought about for a week.

Trumpito really is the Michael Jordan of trolling the left.

It’s pretty clear that the DNC has manipulated the primaries to ensure Bernie Sanders gets nowhere close to the nomination. Which is odd given the party’s hard left turn, but you can’t win a national election with just the base of your party’s support. You have to score moderate votes and even pilfer the votes of some disaffected members of the opposition. It’s why Pete, Liz, Bloomberg, etc. all washed out. Joe was the only candidate not named Tulsi Gabbard, that could be viewed as a moderate.

Doesn't change the fact that Trump is incompetent. Has Trump accomplished a damn thing on his own? Look at what his own sister said about him. His whole persona as a self-made billionaire is a complete lie. Nothing is genuine about Trump. He inherited most of what he has. He cheated his way into college and lied his way out of the draft.
Wow. 4 years and still butthurt this bad...

For an authoritarian he sure missed a golden opportunity to become a despot and seize even more power for the executive branch.
