I'm on my second year and getting ready to start the third. I got a rebate check back a few weeks ago for my first year that was over 10% of what I paid in. In the second year my premiums went up about 10% even though their costs were over the previous year. Now I have to pay another increase of 17%. These kind of increases are unsustainable. I can afford to pay it, but I sure can't wait until I'm on medicare.

I don't mind paying the premiums but I'll go in for what is claimed to be my 100% preventive visit and still come out paying 300 dollars on something...I've spent a grand total of 1 night in the hospital in my life and that was for a kidney stone...so I've thrown away thousands on insurance

This is interesting. I just got an email from BCBS informing me of how my great bronze ACA insurance plan will go up 17% next year to $908/month and the deductible will go up to $5950. Apparently BCBS didn't get the memo.

Sounds like you need a medicare for all plan.

I really don't see that gaining any traction. If that is going to be the focus of the Trump campaign these last two weeks, then I feel pretty good about Biden's chances.

Well I didn't go into Biden's memory about past events. I'm just talking about the times he's stated he's running for Senate, and the mysterious schedule.

I like how she gives the DNC fits. Certainly makes me chuckle they immediately reached for the "She's a Russian Agent!" when she took on Hillary.

I don’t disagree but, like any other accusations, you start with an assumption of innocence. There’s a long way to go before saying Joe shouldn’t be POTUS because of this. If everyone is serious about investigating this it takes time, more time than what we have between now and Election Day. I’m voting Trump and think Biden is a terrible candidate but there are some questions about how all of this came about, the timing is suspect, and it just seems awfully convenient that all of this info is right there all together. I’m not saying it’s not real but I’m not buying it yet either. If I were in Trump’s shoes I’d basically say there’s smoke and often where there’s smoke there’s fire but we’re going to figure all of that out after I win again and then move on. This isn’t worth harping on at this point. Now, more impact might be had by talking about how no one is even asking about it, the censorship, and then tying that back to Biden. That is proven and clear for everyone to see.

Yep, and start a can't be terminated investigation so that if Joe wins he is hamstrung for 3-4 years just like Trump was. Trump has to idle along until after the election and then decide how to or whether to investigate Biden. If Biden wins, Trump should go scorched earth like obama did. Joe has been around DC long enough, he would probably clean house and pack positions with dem cronies as part of the takeover and protect himself - something Trump wasn't politically savvy enough to do. Gotta have a good wingman over at DOJ - Sessions was unbelievably bad, and no way the dems let Barr hang around - they have to axe him at takeover so it doesn't appear to be a way to cut off an investigation..

Tulsi and Jim Webb are the two dems that the GOP should have done everything in their power to convert. There's still a chance with Tulsi. I could be happy with the next GOP ticket being Nikki Haley and Tulsi. The dems wouldn't know what to do if hit by that combination.
