I actually saw the one hour special last night. They made the case that Donald Trump will be one of the more influential POTUS's of our lifetime. Other legitimate historians and constitutional scholars have said the same. It is no wonder that Benjamin Netanyahu made a humble mention to this when the Israel and Sudan agreement was made public on Sunday when he said history records it.

In essence, people can lie about the truth but history does not. Netanyahu was careful not to offend anyone he may have to work with in the future but it is clear he wants Trump to win. I think the people of America and the world needs him to.

That was also of no small assistance in getting into the National Guard during the Vietnam War, while there was a waiting list. It's interesting that George W. Bush was rejected by the University of Texas College of Law, but was accepted into the MBA program at Harvard.

This is a very lazy take.

Most in this lineup weren’t even legitimate statistical models and were built to get clicks for websites, not accurately model a complex event.

538 was the only properly built model out-putting fat-tailed (not as sexy as it sounds) distributions.

More importantly, 2016 isn’t 2020.

Soft 3rd party support in polling: high vs low
Leader under 50% nationally: way under vs safely over

Trump still has a statistically significant chance, but it is absolutely a long shot.
